No advisory issued on lifting of suspension of deployment of OFWs to KSA

The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration has not issued Advisory No. 69, Series of 2022 “Lifting the Suspension on Deployment of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia”. The fake advisory was an edited or manipulated copy of an advisory with the same subject issued by the POEA on May 29, 2021. .

POEA clarifies definition of “balik-manggagawa"

Filipinos based in the Philippines who are rendering online services for overseas employers and are leaving to assume their jobs abroad for the first time are not qualified for the issuance of overseas employment certificate (OEC) for balik- manggagawa or returning workers.
